Sunflowers are woven into folklore wherever they are grown. In different part of the world, they symbolize luck, courage, loyalty, longevity and other positive traits. These decals will bring a little sunflower joy and rainbow magic into your home.
This set of 8 decals is made of durable, reusable, phthalate-free, prismatic vinyl. The clear decals change colors with the light and will cast rainbows on your walls. They stick using static cling and will not leave sticky residue on your windows. The decals in this set range in height from 6-7 inches. The flowers are about 2.5 inches in diameter. They are easy to apply using warm water, and every set comes with instructions.
To make rainbows, they do need the light to hit them from the correct angle. In sunny north or south facing windows, they can produce rainbows for much of the day. In east or west facing windows, you can expect about 2 hours of rainbows each day in the morning (east) or evening (west).

The decals work best for preventing bird strikes when applied to the outside of the window. Place them 2-4 inches apart using enough decals to cover most of the window. If bird strikes are not a concern, place the decals on the inside of a sunny window. They cast rainbows in bright sun, and they are beautiful in any lighting. The pictures in this listing show the decals in a variety of light conditions. They even cast beautiful projections on window shades and curtains.
To make these decals, I start by sketching the designs. Then I cut them out of black paper by hand and use the cutouts to make digital images. I adjust and clean up the images until they look just right. Then I use a cutting machine to precisely make each decal. I remove the tiny pieces from the lines and textures. Then I pack them by hand to send to you. I enjoy doing this work and hope you love your decals!
