Deadly or delightful – can you tell the difference? These captivating 3.5-4 inch decals are a beautiful (and harmless) way bring wild mushrooms into your home. Their ever-changing colors are fun to contemplate. They also help prevent birds from hitting your windows. Best of all, you don’t have to wait until after dark to catch the light show. The decals look pretty in any light, but need full sun to cast rainbows.
This set of 12 decals is made of durable, reusable, phthalate-free, prismatic vinyl. The clear decals change colors with the light and will cast rainbows on your walls when the conditions are right. They stick using static cling and will not leave sticky residue on your windows. This set includes 2 each of six designs: chanterelles, death caps, fly agarics, maitakes, morels and porcinis. They are easy to apply using warm water, and every set comes with instructions.
To make rainbows, they do need the light to hit them from the correct angle. In sunny north or south facing windows, they can produce rainbows for much of the day. In east or west facing windows, you can expect about 2 hours of rainbows each day in the morning (east) or evening (west).

The decals work best for preventing bird strikes when applied to the outside of the window. Place them 2-4 inches apart using enough decals to cover most of the window. If bird strikes are not a concern, place the decals on the inside of a sunny window. They cast rainbows in bright sun, and they are beautiful in any lighting. The pictures in this listing show the decals in a variety of light conditions. They even cast beautiful projections on window shades and curtains.
These decals are my original designs drawn with love. I use a cutting machine to precisely make each decal and then remove the tiny pieces by hand. Then I pack them to send to you. I enjoy doing this work and hope you love your decals!
